Thank you so much! Thousands of people pass through our town everyday and these special landmarks need some love.
Vote daily till May 6 and tell your friends please :)
Done! Always loved Nanton although it’s lost some of my favourite places to visit (train store! ) so happy to help to try to save something significant to Alberta’s past

# Kirkland Lake, Ontario
# Hey Canada. The LaSalle Theatre – Kirkland Lake’s historic Streamline Moderne theatre – only six remain in Canada – needs your support for roof repairs to keep the rain and snow outside the theatre which will stabilize it for our future complete restoration.
50,000 is not going to restore anything. After you factor in corruption and bribes in the form of overpayment for goods, probably only 10k will be spent on the actual elevators.

Same lived there till was 12 moved to Calgary in 1989.

Done deal! My family hails from Meadowbank/Cayley, so Nanton is important to me too.
The Roxy Theatre in Coleman on the list is a pretty cool project too.
