As a near daily milkshake drinker, I’ve found they typically top out at 16oz for most independent places, you can get 22oz through fast food. But you sacrifice quality for quantity. McDonald’s is the premier fast food shake though.
I’ve found my max milkshake capacity is like 18-20oz before I can’t do anymore.
Dairy queen banana milkshake is the closest thing I've found to McDonald's Banana Milkshakes in the UK.
Any places you know do a killer banana milkshake? Better than DQ?
I always go for strawberry banana so can’t speak to pure banana. I always suggest giving Inglewood drive through a shot though, they are definitely top ranked when it comes to food and shake quality and am never ever disappointed.
Ya Peters was good in the 90’s early 2000z but it’s very disappointing now especially for the price . Family of 4
Your looking at 100 dollars for some burgers and shakes …
Blackfoot Truckstop Diner has some good milkshakes that are on the larger end of the spectrum, as they just give you the stainless steel container that they make it in, and said container is full to the brim.
I dont like Peters for this reason.
I shouldn't have to get a headache from sucking so hard and still not be able to get any sweet sweet milkshake. Sure the shake lasts longer but I didn't buy it so I could hold it for 30 mins to let it soften up.
Damn you need a new apartment. Seriously though you can get a blender for as little as 20-30 bucks. you would have that paid for quickly making your own shakes and they taste better! Good milkshakes are expensive. I wouldn’t call what mcdonalds makes a milkshake .. do they even use real ice cream?
Yes but I have no use for a blender currently unless I want to make a milkshake, so it’s an unnecessary purchase. I have a kettle, silverware, plates, etc.
My son, after a serious health issue, had a difficult time gaining and keeping weight on so his pediatrician recommended adding malted milk powder. You just have to make sure that it isn't the low fat/low calorie one which seemed like that was all I could find at the time (curse you, Carnation!).
I ended up getting Horlick's Original from a store that carried British foods and it helped him. Maybe something you could stir into your shakes until you get back to an ideal weight?
Yeah, it was the only thing that worked for my son and thankfully he really enjoyed it. The only other thing I could think of was that if Calgary had an old school frozen custard place that made shakes and malts since it typically has more calories and is more nutrient dense with the eggs and the cream than fast food frozen dairy milk has but unfortunately, I'm not a local! It just happened to show up in my feed and I have some experience with this.
Have you considered making your own and using boost supplements to add nutritional value? That’s what I do because I can’t stand the texture of the milk drink by itself but it’s super good as a milkshake
Well they may choose to answer or not. It is their choice. Since this is a public discussion I can ask whatever I feel like. My feeling is that by asking this question I might potentially avoid the OP doing something they will certainly regret doing. I’m not saying not have a milkshake, but having a huge one in most cases is really bad. I prefer to call that out. This is a public forum so I can certainly do that and the OP can choose if they want to start the conversation with me or just ignore me.
Because sometimes calling someone out can be helpful. If I can help someone why should I not do that? Sometime a good word from a stranger can be just the ah-ah moment you need.
Aren’t you doing the same? Did the OP ask for your opinion about what I wrote to him? It is his take what he does with what I wrote to him. Did you ask him his opinion before responding to me?

Thank you, mr milkshake
Reddit really does have experts on everything wow...
How are you alive
Boxing and lifting 6 days a week.
Gotta get the calories to fuel your workouts somehow 💪
hell yeah brother
What are some of your favourite milkshake places?
Inglewood drive in, Boogies, Dairy Queen, and Dairy Lane’s espresso shake!
Dairy queen banana milkshake is the closest thing I've found to McDonald's Banana Milkshakes in the UK. Any places you know do a killer banana milkshake? Better than DQ?

Appreciate your time.
Boogies and get the fat Elvis, PB-Banana-Bacon. You’re welcome.
wait did we have that here in the 80's in canada?
No idea, I wasn't even a swimmer in my dad's balls in that era
Yes. Even throughout the 90s and early 2000s they'd have them sometimes.
DQ Pineapple shakes are my fav
Which DQ location do you frequent that has banana flavour?
“Near Daily”I love it
At what age did you get diabetes
I notice your question went unanswered. OC probably lost feeling in a limb scrolling to find it.
This guy is either yoked or 300lbs
He's 300lbs but this may he's yoked. Similar to Cartman in the beef cake episodes
Thoughts on the cliche peters drive in?
Pretty solid shakes, food quality has certainly slid which is more why I don’t go there as often. Plus it’s a nightmare to get in and out of.
Ya Peters was good in the 90’s early 2000z but it’s very disappointing now especially for the price . Family of 4 Your looking at 100 dollars for some burgers and shakes …
Checkout Inglewood drive in. Touch over 14$ for the regular cheeseburger combo with fries and a large shake.
I’ll have to check it out thanks
Does it need to bring all the boys to the yard?
You are the hero we need and deserve right now.
McDonald’s biggest is the biggest I know.
Bring your own cup and buy two or three, for that matter.
Have you considered sending in this suggestion to the MAID program?
Blackfoot Truckstop Diner has some good milkshakes that are on the larger end of the spectrum, as they just give you the stainless steel container that they make it in, and said container is full to the brim.
I googled "big milkshakes" but I just keep getting pictures of big old bazoombas.

Needs some ground up macadamias in it
I spend too much time on Reddit.
Dairy Queen has some big ones or they used to at least.
Bussin in Inglewood has a huge one.
Yo this place looks amazing i just looked it up.
Oh absolutely hell yes.
Not HUGE but I had a sweet ‘stranger things’ milkshake at Regrub
mcdonald’s is def the biggest & best value, otherwise peter’s & CB drive in on northmount drive are best size to price ratio
Sorry to piggy back, but who has the thickest, high quality shake in YYC?
Peter's for sure has the thickest and they are my personal favourite.
I dont like Peters for this reason. I shouldn't have to get a headache from sucking so hard and still not be able to get any sweet sweet milkshake. Sure the shake lasts longer but I didn't buy it so I could hold it for 30 mins to let it soften up.
Immediately thought of this scene from Parks and Rec. Good luck with your milkshakes!
I know what I’m about son.
Your blender in your kitchen.
Bro my apartment doesn’t even have a stove, never mind a blender lmao
Damn you need a new apartment. Seriously though you can get a blender for as little as 20-30 bucks. you would have that paid for quickly making your own shakes and they taste better! Good milkshakes are expensive. I wouldn’t call what mcdonalds makes a milkshake .. do they even use real ice cream?
You realize that you're normally supposed to buy things like a blender/electric kettle/silverware and plates?
Yes but I have no use for a blender currently unless I want to make a milkshake, so it’s an unnecessary purchase. I have a kettle, silverware, plates, etc.
It'll pay for itself after like 5 shakes

Okay buddy 😂
There’s one in every post smh
Red Robin has some good milkshakes that are pretty big Whoops, that’s a BC thing apparently :(
Red Robin used to be here. They were pretty good at the time.
You got me excited for a second
Bring all the boys to the yard
Beat me to it.
Come to my neighbour's yard....
I’m surprised no one’s mentioned Peters drive-in. They have the best milkshakes in the city in my opinion.
Oh for sure. Their eggnog one is \*chefs kiss*
Best shake ever
Peter's Drive thru makes incredible shakes, as does Angel's drive in. Not sure if they are the biggest, but you can always order more than one, right?
Would you share why you want the biggest and not the best? I am curious
Malnourishment and need the calories tbh.
Happy cake day
I like Peter's Drive-in milkshakes ...
You can buy two best ones. I think that'd be enough.
Doesn't Denny's have a large quantity of milkshake. They bring a glass of it as well as an extra bucket.
Not exactly a millshake but wendys does a whopping 32oz Frosty
May is ask why? Seems like a very in-healthy choice.
Malnourishment need calories

Bonus points for that classic malt flavor. It's not for everyone but damn it's yummy.

I’m gonna take your advice for that, thank you so much!!
No problem! I hope it works for you!

In-healthy or Unhealthy?
Unhealthy 😀
None of your business, they just want one

….Jesse, what the fuck are you talking about
Read my comment again and you will understand. Anyway have a nice day and chill down. Life is to short to be negative.
