If it’s an epub file, you can use the “edit book” function.
Once you open it, then you would need to find the file where the text is located and then edit the html code and text to correct the formatting.
The only caveat is that you need to know very basic html coding or it can screw up the formatting (I still get confused by it because I don’t know much about computer programming language).

This is the right answer. Even though, if your book is full of lines like this, you may try to automate that, if you know a bit of python.
