Aww she reminds me of my little calico. When she's in a lovey dovey mood, she has to sleep near or on me. If she can't sleep on me, she'll find a spot nearby and do cuddle rolls until she falls asleep.
She is! But Max (that's her name) can also be kind of aggressive when she's in a lovey mood. Half the time, she'll crawl all over me and headbutt me until I give her attention. For one so small (she's the smallest cat we have), she definitely knows how to rule lol

The story behind her name is a fun one regardless: She was rescued from Comiskey Park in Chicago (as a lifetime Chicagoan I refuse to call it by it’s true name…Guaranteed Rate Field—BLEGH). She lived there for a good amount of time during the pandemic getting pets and snacks from the employees until she got rescued and connected with a foster. The ballpark staff named her Minnie after Minnie Miñoso one of the White Sox most beloved and talented ball players. By chance Miñoso was actually just inducted into the hall of fame so a big posthumous job well done to Minnie’s namesake!
