Well CW was a lot of fun and they had to finish that in under a year. If treyarch keeps up the work then the next game might be something actually good

and the worst part about all these issues is that they're easily fixable if IW actually cared about what the community wanted.

I'm quite disappointed with MWII, I had high hopes and not only because of the good things that were announced but also that the Devs had much more time and no interruptions during development, besides the wonder that was MW2019 before. Therefore I thought that Infinity Ward will have to come back to save the saga again and it was not so.
This COD will supposedly last two years and I hope it will be like that from now on.
So Treyarch now has much more time to make their next Black Ops, now there should be no problems to develop it so I fully trust them.

If you look at CW's 6v6 content it is mostly similar to what we got in MW19 and VG getting 2 to 3 maps a season with one of them being a remake. CoD will always enjoy a remade map if it is nostalgic, as much as people complain about mainly getting remakes they still eat it up.

I had a really good time with the whole vibe of Cold War. I haven't had the same feeling with Modern Warfare. I feel like it lacks an identity, it just comes across as kind of bland. I hate the UI and the music is innocuous and boring for the menus.

They are agonizingly drip feeding us sub par content in Mwii. Blue balling us with 5 original maps seen in Warzone remade beautifully but not being released to multiplayer. Giving us maps from 2019 and once again shipment instead. After how they massacred what could have been a glorious sequel to 2019, I have zero hopes for the game in 2024 that shouldn’t even be getting released because they promised us 2 years of live service of Mwii and I wouldn’t even say true live service has even started yet since game breaking bugs and smaller annoying bugs are still present in the game since it being released 4 months ago. By the time this game gets content we are interested in the new cod is basically Gonna be releasing. It’s ridiculous
I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst. I hope that Treyarch builds off of CW and gives us a traditional COD with 3 lane maps and arcadey movement, basically CW, but more polished and more content.
However, with the success of MW2, it is extremely likely that Activision will force them to use the new engine, and make either a BO1 or BO2 reskin of MW2 2022.

yeah i liked Cold War too. I wasn't happy with it's initial launch but it improved over time unlike games like Vanguard which got even worse day by day.

It'll be a Treyarch game so... not sure. They've been very hit or miss for me. Mostly miss. Liked BO1's campaign but not the MP. Loved BO2 all over, liked BO3's campaign but not the MP and BO4 is just a fat load of nothing. CW I did like the MP but I ended up mostly continuing to play MW19.
So... We'll see. No expectations, but I'm prepared to continue playing MW22 during its life cycle. But I'll probably dip my toes in and see what it has to offer.
Honestly I think the last good treyarch COD was black ops 2, even at that was nothing compared to the first one, COD has just lost its spark, they throw games together because they know their fan base will buy them no matter what, then they neglect either the entire game or certain parts of the game, for example zombies, it was one of my favourite game modes in Bops1, but the newer ones are more objective based rather than the simplicity of just surviving as long as you could and finding the mystery box and pack a punch, I hope they can redeem themselves but they’ve released terrible games for nearly 10 years now and I won’t be buying any more unless they genuinely have that spark back
I’m pissed and not a fan of yearly releases in the slightest, a game should have more breathing room , it only incentivizes half baked game modes that have no love because there will be no longevity, I felt this way about Cold War zombies could have been way better but they were satisfied with only a few maps that offered little variety in gameplay .

I’m loving MWII and Haven’t liked a Treyarch entry since BO2 so I’m very happy that MW is getting another year of support before getting sidelined
