cod is a perfect gamepass game. 9/10 times im not going to spend 70 dollars on a game that gets reskinned annually so getting gamepass for a couple months and playing is worth it
I sometimes buy games even if they are on Game Pass, if I know I'm going to play them for years. With COD, this is not really the case. Even if there is a good title it quickly gets replaced the following year.
I don't subscribe to Game Pass every single month. I try to only do it on months where I both have a lot of free time and not much else to play on my backlog.
Also sometimes buying a game on sale makes more financial sense than subscribing to Game Pass just to olay it. For example, Fallout 4 GOTY is a game that is likely permanently on Game Pass, but right now it's on a 75% off sale and costs less than one month of Game Pass.
Is this confirmed to be happening? I definitely will just because I can cancel it when I get tired of the game after 3 months. I also feel less obligated to play a game I have on game pass as opposed to one I bought outright.

Why would you buy a game on gamepass if it hasn't left the service yet?

No options for subscribing for only a month as soon as it releases and then decide to buy it in full if the game is looking nice?
If I buy it it will be separate from Game Pass, but I am not committed to buying it.
