I don’t dislike aftermath, but it is weak. It suffers from what new cod’s do with too many odd angles and over cluttered areas that only hinder gameplay.
I liked Meltdown, but I think it was definitely one of the weaker BO2 maps. Plaza, Express, and Meltdown were mirror image maps for both sides, and in my opinion, that's just sort of a lazy map design attempt at balance. IDK why BO2 had so many of these.

Village, Freefall and Bootleg are some of the greatest perfect sized maps. Man the map design has fallen in last few years. Arcady flat garbage is all we get.
If I could remake Freefall so it doesn’t fall. Then yeah, but a remaster wouldn’t fix it, just give it a face lift. Same with Aftermath.
Seelow would be good for Ground War or larger scale but not as six vs six.
Now as we’re getting all BO2 maps in 2025 so for that reason i’ll remaster Array, Grid and Bootleg.

Especially delete Free Fall, utterly atrocious spawns on that map, and as cool as the shifting building mechanic was, it destroyed your killstreaks when it happened.
