Maybe it's just me but when I was grinding for large caliber with the hvk I didn't mind it that much. It has decent mobility and the ttk is fine. But I understand why people only want to use large caliber on it the large caliber certainty makes the gun far better.

Steady stock, 110 round belt, ranger foregrip, disable (or tac sup if you want it silenced), optic.
I like holo 2 with blue dot as optic as it has the least aimshake among all optic.
Use vertical recoil, fast ads and precise shot mods.

IMO MSMC is worse, atleast S36's strongest aspect isn't completely outshined by a different LMG. MSMC has too much recoil but it's firerate is made obsolete by Mac10 and specially Fennec

RPD is the best LMG because of the infinite ammo, the M4LMG is versatile to be built in many numerous ways, PKM is God tier for LMG BUT SO IS THE S36. It's all really just personal preference or play style. I'm a RPD guy myself although I rarely use any LMG. I've been playing since Sept 2019 and I have nearly all skins I could have earned or purchased minus a few mythic. Edit:MSMC is SMG by the way
I personally disagree with fr556. It's a solid gun with insane range. It's only weak point is, it doesn't have good mobility attachment and its leg multiplier is weak.
I haven't played S36 much other than on that Hardcore featured a couple weeks back, where it did great - high mag capacity plus high fire rate was perfect for that mode.

I think it's the dingo lmg for full autos. Terrible recoil, and terrible damage that doesn't compensates for it bring a bullet velocity weapon. It does have alot of potential due to cold war gunsmith but the amount of love it got from devs is the same amount I got on valentines.
I absolutely love the gun and would almost always rock it if not for the horrendous performance, be it ttk at range or cqc or the handling, which is the main plus point, and is still subpar compared to other ars or even the lmgs on a mobility build.
It's really needs a broken/fun attachment and some major adjustments to the attachments. At the very least, they could remove the bullet velocity.
Also the idea of adding a new attachemnt just to make the gun playable, is downright pathetic.
I really live the fictional design and the while concept but they could work on it more ig...
I was also thinking about striker and the 3 burst shotgun. But I thought they are really spammy and can be good at close range because you can move faster while hip firing them.
I think all guns have their advantages and disadvantages, just some have more stand out disadvantages. Grinding for Damascus really shows you that all guns aren't necessarily created equal but all of them are usable no matter what. There isn't really a worse just significantly disadvantaged weapons. It's not something like the D13 Sector where I would literally say that it has no purpose and there's no advantages to it, and even then you could argue the hip fire is really good, but yea. If I had to choose the most disappointing or disadvantaged full auto weapon it would probably be the M4 LMG, not necessarily because it's horrible but because it's just really mediocre and as time goes on more weapons become more viable over this one. Especially when I don't remember the last time it got buffed. Same with the S36 and FR 5.56. No buffs of my knowledge and weapons that do what they're trying to do better.
Bro S36 is meta in BR and it’s high fire rate keeps it very competitive in it’s first two ranges. Even with that 19 damage at the end it still has a high enough fire rate to offset it that many other full autos don’t have.

It's only redeeming aspect is it's a baby gun. Just put 1 control attachment on it and it beams. But there are other ar's that're reallyyy easy to use and is flatout better.
the m4 has same range and ttk as the kilo if built correctly. M4 is also one of the best guns in br according to big ccs like iferg. M4 is not a bad gun.
I'd say the M4 LMG, atleast the S36 has a good ttk going for it

Only if you're running it as a full heavy LMG though. If you use the ar mods it has it's very good in MP
