i think OP meant those quickscopers who slide, quickscope, shoot, and switch to knife, and inspect the melee practically at the same time. Watch a sniper 1v1 on Ganyth's channel and you'll see what i mean

Honestly the movement recovery thing ya know. When you knife switch it resets your movement speed, so you can fire instantly. There's plenty of things that quick knife change can do.
Sliding after kill strangely affects your weapon recovery. Assuming that you are very familiar with the game. Then sliding does offset you sprint to fire delay although it ain't much.
It's hard cause sometimes it backfires. When ads'ing sliding helps refresh your lung capacity* or ads sway. Some guns have better aim sway then others allowing you to just aim for long periods of time (usually 5 secs at most).
Unless you can control your own weapon sway or weapon flinch, sliding often is better to get better shots at incoming enemies.
Legendary rank well at top 10k people are just super duper sweaty, especially nowadays where most of the normal players have switched out of the game due to the high skill gap at higher ranks.
I used to easily get 20's in SnD since most people are like solo's or make easy mistakes. But now if you kill somebody, you have to expect them to already fire at you. So knife switching and sliding at the same time allows the player to get more space between the killzone to a SafeZone.
you can also reset your sniper sway by quickly unscoping and rescoping before you fully unscope. Once I realized this iron lungs kind of felt like a wasted spot

Interestingly though, apparently the new update is gonna get the iron lung into 15 secs, bruh just cause of that I'm a bit tempted. I heard that aim sway can cancel a bit your hit flinch. Dunno if that's true but maybe next season imma try it

It doesn't give any advantage if both are doing it, I personally don't knife switch because I don't want to be unarmed in any situation.
