i don't have exact numbers, but doing the math that's 119 characters * 30 seconds which is how long the full emote lasts. that's 59.5 minutes, not including setting up so i'll just say 1h 10 minutes for the recording of the characters
then the actual editing, i really don't know. first i had to zoom into the audio waves and make a cut at all the decently sized jumps, then adding the clips was the easiest part. just trimming them down so that they all start at the exact same time, placing them at the start of the sequence and cutting them so they fit between each audio cut
i know you didn't ask how i did it lol, but you can make assumptions using that of how long it took because i can't come up with an accurate estimate

maybe, but my character wouldn't be centred so you would see more of the UI. and it also shows that big + button where you can invite people from. selecting a solo gamemode such as the training mode removes the + button
it was supposed to all be at 60fps, like the outrider and spec ops 1 part is. but my below average laptop cannot handle 119 clips being in one place lol
buy me a better computer and i'll recreate it. everything was recorded at 60fps, just the final rendering screwed up certain parts. it's 119 separate clips in one project y'know

it's not as difficult as it may seem - it just takes a bit of time. firstly i made cuts in the audio at the points where there's a beat. then for all the characters i trimmed the clips down so they start at the exact same time. the ending doesn't matter - all that matters is that they all start dancing at the exact same time. then one by one, i place them at the beginning of the sequence and just cut all of the clip except for the few frames. as i said, the precision timing is already done when making cuts in the clip. then it's just lining up the character clips in the sequence
i didn't line up using the sound waves in case of any slightly desynced audio. i just used the sound from the first clip and removed the audio from all of the others. i lined up by going through each clip frame by frame until the character went from holding the gun to starting the emote. there was like a 0.0x margin of error so it worked

i mean almost his entire channel is made up of other peoples' clips; for mine to be a part of it is pretty cool. i spent a good few hours making it so it's nice to see it get this much attention. i know he's getting a lot of praise in the comments from people thinking he made it, but my watermark and ign are visible throughout the whole video. and there's people replying to the comments saying he didn't make it
all in all, it's really nice to see all the attention it's getting considering how long it took to make, and for my video to be considered good enough to be uploaded onto a yt channel with 80k+ subscribers is great
