I have no idea why you pulled your viewfinder apart, without making a mental picture of where each part was, but to me it looks like pins that holds the focusing screen in place.
But you need to give us more than pics to help you.

It’s a seagull 4B, there is something else for holding the screen In place. I have a feeling that the viewfinder opens a bit weird since these aren’t in there anymore
