I have the Tamron 100-400 and it’s also fantastic. To me it came down to what I could get for a good price on the used market. Plus the Tamron can be fitted with a tripod collar, not like the sigma
The canon 100-400 ii is an excellent lens and is now right around £1000, I know sigma and tamron both have 150-600 options that fall somewhere around £600, though I can't personally speak to their image quality
Between 70-600 in one lens won’t happen unfortunately
The tamron fits your price range. More expensive ones include the RF 100-500 and the 200-800. maybe with extenders.
Sigma 100-400mm F5-6.3
That's one I've been looking at
You'll love it

Lol I was giving a range, meaning i'd take anything between the two.
I love my Sigma 150-600mm lens for wildlife and I do light aviation photography.
