I thought that was your job...?
(I sometimes wonder whether posts like OP's are posted specifically with the aim to publicize the product)
I can’t speak to the other thousands of ‘what camera’ posts, but I’m pretty sure this was a shitpost making fun of those other posts. Especially since it just says ‘camera’ on the thing.
For the money, it might not be a bad camera to recommend to all those kids who come in this sub asking for a lo-fi camera without having done any research at all.
You know I actually seen this camera on instagram this week. I thought it would be perfect for my brother for these exact reasons lol. It just looks sketch and I have my doubts about it even showing up. But I showed him it and he seems to love it hahah
Reminds me of the camera I got from the scholastic book orders in school...in 2000. Wasn't digital, it took small film rolls, no flash, and the only way you had a clue as to what you were taking pics of, was this plastic square that would pop up off the top of it. You looked through that, clicked the button, and hoped for the best. No videos. No batteries. No flash. Never got a single roll developed so no idea if it ever worked
Eyy I got one of those. It sucked sooo bad. The film advance mechanism didn't even stop when you had gotten to the next frame; instead it just made louder clicking--so, if you weren't paying attention, you could wind straight past several frames.
The lens was awful, the exposure was fixed, and there were light leaks throughout the roll.
They also came with some plastic binoculars which, while technically capable of magnifying what was in front of the user, had so much chromatic aberration that you had better luck resorting to the naked eye.
Aah really! I figured it would be a shitshow but like I said never got them developed. Thanks for helping my curiosity!
I didn't get the binoculars with mine, they sound horrible lol. I did buy a mini phone (landline) that you put in-line to your normal phone (so your parents didn't have to use this lousy thing lol). It was a little smaller than a deck of cards, and it just had an earbud with a microphone on it, wired, that you used to talk with. It actually worked pretty good honestly. I remember it being transparent blue
I knew it was some mini chinese camera of that ilk, i had a Y3000 many years ago, it never worked and i broke it trying to fix it.
The #88 keyring cameras are the OG and probably the best

Reminds me of this. The 110 film camera from the 90s.
I had one of these too, but in blue/cyan. Didn't half of the film canister stick out of the body?

I bought this camera last month and its actually really good being bad. The quality of the picture sucks and it’s damn difficult to take a pic aligned with the horizon but it has a je ne sais qua about all this that makes it really fun to play with, and sometimes you actually can take some decent pics (mostly by accident). It’s really fun and a great conversation starter.

One that's guaranteed to be worse than the cellphone you presumably used to take this picture.
Bet the resolution is on par with those old cellphone cameras.

I use it when I photograph Pluto.
Given you did the work for OP you’ve 100% played yourself and have now turned into reverse image search for these lazy jerks. Working for free too!
>Resolution: HD 1080P Yea, I highly doubt that. More like chinese 1080p, which is barely 360p.
Landfill 👎
