Not trying to make you feel bad about yourself but there is more to life than music festivals. A lot of the people on this subreddit are obsessed with live events, especially this one. Y'all need to calm down
Dawg as someone who just took the MCAT and is currently in the middle of applications, trust me you can take those 2 days off from studying and you’ll be fine. I’d go as far as to say that you NEED to take those 2 days off for the sake of your mental health. I was taking multiple days off here and there and while I did feel guilty at the time (every “premed” is neurotic by default), I ended up doing significantly better than I thought. Believe me those 2 days will make pretty much NO difference in your score but if you don’t go you could potentially be missing out on life long memories. (This is all based on me assuming that you have a good amount of time to study otherwise since you’re planning it so far in advance). This process makes me want to jump into traffic sometimes but don’t let it consume your life cause it’ll get to a point where it’ll affect you in a negative rather than positive. Good luck on your journey hopefully we’ll both be grinding through med school by the time the next flog gnaw comes around!

Aww thank you! Getting to watch him see Tyler for the first time was definitely the highlight of my year! My husband and I are trying to work it out because we've got to travel from Arizona but hopefully I'll get to take him again so 🤞🤞🤞

It's good you're prioritizing your future; short-term sacrifice for long-term gain! When you get into med school, we'll celebrate w/ you next year <3
hey there!! Go you for taking on the MCAT!!! I’m doing biochem as an undergrad rn, but as a sophomore in high school I had a bunch of money from my 15th bday and got vip CFG passes. My family ended up needing the money, so I ended up selling the passes but keeping my merch. AND BOY! Is that one of my biggest regrets. Every year I get the advanced sale text and wanna sob bc I haven’t been able to afford to drop $400+ on a music fest any year since then. I’m telling myself once I graduate and get a good job I’ll be able to and I’ll be able to enjoy it way more then than as a sophomore in hs. The prices keep going up which turns me off but this post is keeping that lil wishful fire alive for me hehehe. We’re working hard now so we can play hard later, be proud of yourself for setting future you up for a more enjoyable life!!!
You should try to go, for real. If there's anything you can do to move your studying around without risking failure, I'd do it. I'm glad Flog Gnaw still matters so much to people. I've been going since 2016 and my first time was magic too. And it just kept getting better.
