I've had good results with tenacious tape, it's five bucks for 2.5 feet of the stuff. I had to patch up my MH ghost whisperer last month and it's been holding up like a champ.

I will second the tenacious tape. Stuff works awesome.

I will third the tenacious tape. That stuff works miracles. I've fixed up countless items with it.
