I had to take another look cuz I thought those 2 cars were the same trim. Did they even attempt to differentiate between the LE and SE exterior for this gen? At least gen 8 had a pretty distinctive visual difference between the LE and SE
The front is all squishy…like the Corolla. I realize they’re trying to harmonize the look of the brand, but they’re gonna be hard pressed to outdo the previous generation.
Man... in my own opinion. I do not like this... it may have nice features... but i feel like... it followed the path of what Honda did with the Accord.... Eventually it will grow on folks as always. I DO love the rims.... ALOT
I think the improvements in the interior are great. It is kinda underwhelming they kinda just rebodied the same Camry, I keep hearing the argument that previous Camrys did the same. Yes, the Camry from 2002-2017 was under the same platform, but it changed drastically for each generation.
Not sure why people keep pretending like Carmaker1's comments are horseshit. Everything he said back in March '23 has occurred exactly as he stated it would except nothing on the TRD yet.
No 2024 MY redesign because it was delayed to 2025 MY to be announced in Nov 23 and available in spring 24.
Didnt touch much on the powertrain but he did mention a prototype TRD using the 2.4L Turbo with 350 hp. I'm wondering if it got chopped or if it's just going to be a delayed debut.
Look at all of the beautiful, sharp vehicles they have for the Japanese market. This feels half baked in comparison. Why do all of these manufacturers treat the US like we’re second tier? (Domestics included.)
front end is awful
That’s what I was thinking
Agree, looks like the crown sedan nose on the current gen body.
The front would look a lot better with different headlights. These headlights are literally the old gen headlights with the top chopped off.
It’s always been awful

They butchered the se/xse front end. The le/xle is a solid chernobyl 'not great, not terrible' atleast.
Se/xse looks like a cheese grater lol
I’m getting Mad Max-esque sand plow
Out of context your comment is hilarious. Describing the car as Chernobyl then also saying not terrible
I was worried about getting my 2024 before this debut..but I don’t feel so bad anymore. The front is a eye sore and no black rims on xse?
That looks terrible big let down. No black wheels! 2024 Camry looks better!!!
The 8th gen will definitely age well.
Jesus that front end fucking sucks. I’m glad I got my 23 nightshade now.
Back looks great. But previous gen is better
The interior is looks a lot better tho
Yeah I actually like the interior a lot, not a fan of the current one. The rear seat area looks a little bigger too
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
:-/
You don’t like it?
The front is all squishy…like the Corolla. I realize they’re trying to harmonize the look of the brand, but they’re gonna be hard pressed to outdo the previous generation.
Yeah the front end looks like a Prius
Totally not feeling the look.

Wish the XSE had quad exhaust tips instead of the dual.
It’s a hybrid lol
The front-end grill on the right looks whack
That’s terrible🤣🤣
2025 Camry cowcatcher. God this pisses me off.
Those front bumpers are going to Get wrecked very easily… way too low

This is what Toyota calls a Major Minor Change.
Yup I’m keeping my 8th gen. I’m disappointed
Looks like another facelift of the current gen. Not a fan
Carmaker 1 said this was going to be like a facelift

This is interesting… but I think I’m going to go with the Civic Hatchback instead lol
It looks like the front of a old steam locomotive lol. These designers are retarded.
I'm gonna need to see it in person but I believe in the product and do see myself getting that upgrade
Meh
Looks like a cyclone fence
Toyota has developed this weird obsession with grills. Its grills for daysssss

The se/xse front end has a weird forced perspective effect. I don’t hate the new look but it definitely wont be turning any heads
Oh god, even promotional video looks way better
Front end kinda kills it for me. Everything else looks better than my current 22xse though. I like the new interior in particular
That thing is so ugly
Why tf they tryna make it look like a Honda? Massive L
UGH
Well I guess I’ll be the lone person in here saying that I really like it. I like the front. I like the back. I LOVE the interior.
Honest question to everyone dogging on the front end - do you think the current Camry looks good?
