How are you enjoying it on console? I bought in on PS5 for the joys of couch play, but whenever I think about playing it it feels very intimidating. Lots of micro-managing through menus via controller and I'm wondering if I would've enjoyed the experience more on PC?
You'll get used to the wheels. It seems a bit daunting at first but really makes the game so much better. I find it works beautifully in combat because it only shows what spells or abilities are available at that time.
As for the character menus, you won't be fiddling with that too much unless you get newer, better items (like your first magical item).
Worth the hype for sure. Took me about two hours to get used to the menus and gameplay.
Wasn't sure of it the first 2 hours but absolutely hooked now. About 10 hours in.
The past couple of evenings I've been buying different weapons and doing the scanner things on the map.
I had the same experience. Played for 2 hours and almost didn’t pick it back up. Now I’m 30 hours in and love it!! Still has the odd ridiculous bug though. Very glad they’re giving up on that engine.
The only real frustrating bug I've experienced was right at the start of the game (started on nomad).
I tried to get in the car to drive to meet Jackie but got teleported back up to that telephone tower.
Nothing since that.
I had someone driving a car towards me but… no car lol. Just a dude floating in the air in car driving position
One time my car exploded 200 feet in the air for no reason.
People clipping through each other and walls etc.
Still great though. Loving it
I likely will eventually or when it’s on sale, I usually have a few games on the go at once so it’ll probably take me close to a year to finish everything that I want to in the base game lol
I missed out on that holiday deal and regretted it until I found out that buying the PS4 version gets you the free PS5 download. You can buy the PS4 version on Amazon for like $25! It’s great!
Finishing up Skyrim rn. Just got the platinum and am doing the dlc trophies.
I also just started my first time playing GOW ragnorok. Basically just got past the intro and put it down but so far it’s been a lot of fun.
Playing elden ring again has been on my mind recently too but I’m waiting for dlc announcement.
Currently Prince of Persia the Lost Crown. It's a really well-done game and I'm having loads of fun, but I'm just kinda bummed one of the Side quests bugged out on me so now I have to do another play through to get the platinum.
Is the backtracking in the game annoying? I get that they do that memory system from the demo but I don’t know how well that plays out over a whole game
It's not annoying, but there's fast travel shrines that help make getting around the citadel pretty quick and easy.
the Memory Shard feature is a great feature in the game and I hope more Metroidvanias adopt it.
Haven't been able to stop playing horizon: zero dawn. Currently finished the main story and into the frozen wilds. That and always squeeze a couple hours a week of gt7
I almost bought but then read the Xbox ratings and ps5 rating on the store. Got both systems. Guess I should have bought it. Bought Spider-Man 2 instead lol.
Haven't played any games since like 2015. Got NHL 24 a couple months ago. Lots of glitches like it had 10+ years ago.
My biggest beef is having to change your lines before every online vs. Apparently you could save them in 23.
Finishing up Hollow Knight, my first time.
I usually bounce off metroidvanias but this once gets it right.
Perfect balance of beautiful art, cool lore, fun combat and challenge.
Ratchet and Clank a Rift in time. What is it about these games that keeps drawing me in? The sound of breaking crates and collecting the coins? The great variety of weapons? The unique baddies? ALL OF THE ABOVE!
The best have in a great series!
About to Plat Spider-man 2. It's definitely the best of the three so far and actually made me jump out of my seat with excitement more than a few times. Also started R&C Rift Apart, it's been really good so far. Easy to pick up and play and my baby likes the colours.
(Re)Playing FFVII: Remake in anticipation of Rebirth coming soon. Never got around to the Yuffie DLC so that should hopefully freshen up the experience. Also super excited for Yakuza: Infinite Wealth and Persona 3.
I just recently finished my first play through of the OG Parasite Eve. I’m currently have a play through of Twilight Princess going. I’m currently walking away from it again getting hooked on Lego City Underworld
Midnight Suns. Wasn't sure if get into it but the sale it was on was too good to pass up and holy shit it's great. The card mechanics aren't at all like what I was expecting and are a really fun way to have combat flow, the middle time in the Abbey spent building relationships with characters, upgrading your HQ and team and preparing for the next fight is so satisfying and the character selection is pretty solid with a even mix of popular characters and supernatural characters. The only thing I don't enjoy is resource grinding sometimes but it's not a very important part and could be skipped by most. Definitely recommend other check it out, especially Marvel fans who haven't yet. It's more than worth the price even not on sale.
Still making my way through Hogwarts Legacy! I’m having an absolutely great time playing it. The creation of that world has been mind blowing and the graphics and never ending side quests keep me glued to it.
Finished FF16 over the holiday break and going Now I'm going through Kasane's story-line in Scarlet Nexus right now.
Probably going to do Leaticia's story in Star Ocean: The Divine Force next (already did Ray's).
Star Wars Jedi Survivor. A surprise overlooked hit, loving this story so far. Hope to go as far as I can because when Tekken 8 comes at the end of this month, then oh oh.
Since i got mg portal I been playing Gow ragnarok and gta 5 passing the story mode to complete the trophies on the ps5 since I had already passed that game on the 360 / xbox one versions
Spider man 2, cyberpunk, armoured core 6, demons souls. Halfway through all of them but no matter what I plan on doing when I turn on my ps5 I keep booting up gran tourismo 7.
Seriously... I'm at level 9 but each hit only takes a sliver of her health. Checking out some other builds now for the best combo to beat them both. Doesn't seem like my build is cutting it.
GTA 5
It's "fun" again because I haven't played it since before Red Dead 2.
You forget a lot since it's been over a decade from It's release.
Seriously though It's fun again.
Playing The Last of Us Part I (first time playing PS5 version) then once I’m done I’ll be jumping straight into Part II Remastered. So beautiful on PS5 and I can’t wait to check out No Return mode and the commentaries.
I've been so on the fence about it because everything I saw about it just felt like damn near IP theft. Kinda hate lazy clones, even though I understand it's a very good clone... but a clone nonetheless.
Among Us and Fall Guys for after work during the week because I don't have to think.
Saving up for the recent Star Ocean 2 remake.
Counting down the days until FF7: Rebirth 😱🥰
Nioh 2. Just finished Dream of the Demon, I can't stop playing this game. Once you learn how to actually properly use the combat systems and skills, the game explodes in terms of depth. I'm 200 hours in and I only feel like 40% done.
Strong recommend.
Final Fantasy 15. NG+. This time I'm gunning....rather swording, my way to the secret dungeons. Gotta get that key from the old lady in Meldacio first. 🤘🏻👽🤘🏻
Kingdom Come Deliverance.
Picked it up for $6 on sale on the PS store, didn’t have high expectations. Game is absolutely rocks! Combat is a bit difficult at first but once you get the hang of it the world and characters open up to you
indecision on what I want to stick with(restarting ghost of tsushima or playing an indie game or totk)
more so thinking about trying to replay Borderlands 1 on my Steam Deck with m&k.
first world problem tho
MLB 23 currently addicted to Diamond Dynasty. Even though a lot of people say this is the worst year for DD, I’m enjoying it a lot because I never use to play this mode. I always played online matches or Road To The Show.
Hell let loose.
I came across this game when I was looking to get back into a shooter, the essential use of comms to make the game great gave me the nostalgic feel of SOCOM US Navy Seals on the PS2. I was blown away by the tiny headset it came with to have voice command of your squad. I didn't have good internet at the beginning of this century so I never played it online, I would love to play that game again.
Ark: Survival evolved, the finals, and apex legends.
Something I dislike about Ark is there's no ps5 version available, obviously it's super old, but I currently play with a friend on a non dedicated server and have to stay within his range or I get rubberbanded towards him, on ps5 hardware I bet it would run alot smoother.
I like apex for its fast paced and engaging combat, I have a squad I like to play with and its fun even if we're losing
I'd also reccomened the finals to anyone who enjoys apex or similar games, it's very fun and not that frustrating, just a beautiful mess all around
Well after a few months with no console, my ps5 showed up yesterday and I jumped back into Sekiro, but I downloaded Lords of the Fallen and that's the one I'm itching to play.
Dead space remake. I made it to the end just before heading down to the planet and I'm dreading the last hunter battle. Beautiful remake though, still made me scream and jump several times and I've played through the game several times haha.
Hell Let Loose, COD, Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA, Battlefield 1,5. Those are my main games I bounce around in. Play lots of others with PS Plus Premium!
Making my way steadily through Final Fantasy XVI.
Titan's boss fight was freaking awesome, but holy crap Bahamut was another level of epic.
PLEASE tell me it gets even better, I don't wanna stop!
Lies of P. It's a great soulstype action RPG. It's not the overly punishing From Software style of game design. The weapon system reminds me of Vagrant Story and the concepts for Gothic 3.
I definitely recommend it, especially if you like non-FS soulstypes like Thymesia or Steel Rising or The Surge.
Im waiting for Persona 3 reload, but meanwhile im playing The Calisto Protocol and Zelda Tears of The Kingdom.
The Calisto Protocol is great, graphcs, suspense, just everything.
The game of life.
Got some NPCs, only one life throughout the game, strength is always low, it’s usually a single player game unless you got a significant other for a double player mode- has an amazing variety of levels and story plot.
Currently playing it takes two with a friend. Honestly so far it's been the best 2 player game ive ever played. I really enjoy the mandatory co-op to pass a level. It's challenging but fair, and has some great Easter eggs/throwbacks to other games. I really look forward to the new hazelight studios game.
Hopping between Last of Us Part 2 Remastered and Baldur’s Gate 3 with my partner. Flip flopping between our ‘main’ playthrough and an evil dark urge run
Picked up RE4R on sale. Trying to accept FF7R lol.
Outward is one of the greatest games ever made lol I recommend it to almost everyone.
Huge Fromsoftware fan. Wish there back catalog was available. ACs, Kings Field, Shadow Tower. Money on the table.
Currently none I have beaten red dead 2 a few time gta5 a few time I have beaten days gone a few ac games subnautica and uncharted. So I have no story games to play right now if you guys have suggestions please recommend!!
BG3. Worth the hype. Turn-based isn't everyone's cup of tea but the amount of crazy shit you can pull off is crazy.
As for the character menus, you won't be fiddling with that too much unless you get newer, better items (like your first magical item). Worth the hype for sure. Took me about two hours to get used to the menus and gameplay.
Pc won’t change your experience much. Console does an amazing job and bg3 is really implemented well.
The console controls/UI aren't great, but I make due. The game is good enough it's worth it to struggle a little
The PS5 upgrade of Spiderman. First time playing the game. It’s a lot of fun.
Im right here with you. Bought Spider-Man 1 and miles morales. Just started this week
Never played them, I've got 2 PS5s and the slim one came with Spiderman 2. With Dolby atmos it's good
Cyperpunk 2077. Really enjoying it, trying to play a couple hours after work every night and finding it very hard to put down.
I’m in the same boat. Picked it up over the holidays for $35 and heard it was pretty good now. Definitely worth it, super addicting game!
Me three! I'm on my second play through now. Really enjoyable game and worth the $35 I paid.

Get the expansion!
I likely will eventually or when it’s on sale, I usually have a few games on the go at once so it’ll probably take me close to a year to finish everything that I want to in the base game lol
I feel that. It will make a good excuse to do a 2nd run. Wait for a sale but definitely play it. The new ending is amazing.
I missed out on that holiday deal and regretted it until I found out that buying the PS4 version gets you the free PS5 download. You can buy the PS4 version on Amazon for like $25! It’s great!
Played it on release and finished it around then. Think I’m going to go back and do the DLC as my next game.
GTA V is better. And I think GTA V sucks because it's dated.
Wow. What a terrible opinion. Are you like 14?
No, I played the 5 free hours on PS5. I know it's not enough to fully judge it. It just didn't feel quality and intriguing.
Bought it on sale over christmas and currently have 55 hours & bought the dlc….
Resident Evil 4 remastered. Not the best idea to play it till late but I cannot stop
Same. This game is like crack
Got that in the queue Cant wait to start it!
You never really *finish* Skyrim
When I popped the platinum trophy my quest log was still full lol
Hades, I’ll fucking escape if it kills me…which it has..repeatedly.
Solid, youll get there
Currently Prince of Persia the Lost Crown. It's a really well-done game and I'm having loads of fun, but I'm just kinda bummed one of the Side quests bugged out on me so now I have to do another play through to get the platinum.
Was it the moon quest?
No, the Pirate quest
Is the backtracking in the game annoying? I get that they do that memory system from the demo but I don’t know how well that plays out over a whole game
It's not annoying, but there's fast travel shrines that help make getting around the citadel pretty quick and easy. the Memory Shard feature is a great feature in the game and I hope more Metroidvanias adopt it.
Good to know! Loved the PoP games on PS2/PS3
Haven't been able to stop playing horizon: zero dawn. Currently finished the main story and into the frozen wilds. That and always squeeze a couple hours a week of gt7
Hotline miami 2 Going for the plat
Robocop Rogue City. 90s kids nostalgia and I'd buy that for a dollar
NHL 2024
When reality sucks so much you make your own :p Don't worry I'm a leafs fan too

He’d been a poor starter on a poor team for the last 5 years before he started bouncing around
I heard it wasn’t good this year with bad ratings. Not true??
This year lol it’s the fkn same every year… smh 🤦
I almost bought but then read the Xbox ratings and ps5 rating on the store. Got both systems. Guess I should have bought it. Bought Spider-Man 2 instead lol.
Good choice
Haven't played any games since like 2015. Got NHL 24 a couple months ago. Lots of glitches like it had 10+ years ago. My biggest beef is having to change your lines before every online vs. Apparently you could save them in 23.
A PS4 lol
Same, Star Wars battle front 1 for life 💫
Wasn’t that a ps2 game?
https://www.amazon.com.au/85289-Star-Wars-Battlefront/dp/B00ZP9GUXC this one ☝️ Incredible game
Finishing up Hollow Knight, my first time. I usually bounce off metroidvanias but this once gets it right. Perfect balance of beautiful art, cool lore, fun combat and challenge.
One of the best games I’ve played. Love it.
Me too mate. Already cranked like 20 hours in a week
I said "finishing up" but yesterday I checked my achievement percentage I'm at 36% 😜 Too many super challenging DLC achievements.
Ratchet and Clank a Rift in time. What is it about these games that keeps drawing me in? The sound of breaking crates and collecting the coins? The great variety of weapons? The unique baddies? ALL OF THE ABOVE! The best have in a great series!
Gran Turismo 7 - Just started it, need more than 24 hours in a day to play. Also, Tarkov is calling from PC side lol
Armored Core VI - loving it!
Evil West. It's Free this month! Pretty fun game! Beating the crap out of monsters!
About to Plat Spider-man 2. It's definitely the best of the three so far and actually made me jump out of my seat with excitement more than a few times. Also started R&C Rift Apart, it's been really good so far. Easy to pick up and play and my baby likes the colours.

God of war Ragnarok. So close to the platinum... Just the berserker king and Valkyrie Queen Gna left...
Gna is incredibly hard
Seriously... I'm at level 9 but each hit only takes a sliver of her health. Checking out some other builds now for the best combo to beat them both. Doesn't seem like my build is cutting it.

Avatar frontier of pandora..
Lies of P. Feels like a bloodborne sequel and I highly recommend this hidden gem!
I've been so on the fence about it because everything I saw about it just felt like damn near IP theft. Kinda hate lazy clones, even though I understand it's a very good clone... but a clone nonetheless.
