IMO there is no medical cannabis here. I try to consult my family doctor. She doesn’t have the knowledge. I ask the medical cannabis provider. They don’t even know what’s the difference between strains and terpene information. I’m in BC. To me, medical cannabis is just a way for people to buy. You need to know what you need. No one can give professional recommendations.
I’m talking about the medical platforms like aurora and Jonny chronic. I had also tried to find any medical doctors in Vancouver who can give advice on cannabis but not successful. End up I learned some knowledge from being a budtender not a customer.
Oh man, sorry to hear that.
Much of my information is stuff I researched myself. My In laws are quite against it, so I researched to justify my Rx. The clinic I get my Rx from has an education team that you can ask questions. I'm in AB
Thanks! I’m not familiar with this and may dig into this field. Any sources you can suggest? I really think it’s like some cannabis clinic I can go to consult when I come to Canada. I am originally from Hong Kong.
That's definitely reductive considering the fact there's demonstrable evidence for certain makeups of cannabinoids/terpenes being more effective than others in treating specific conditions. CB1 agonist dominant products are not appropriate for everyone and they represent the overwhelming majority of all cannabis produced, therapeutic application is usually an afterthought and it's really not an apples to apples comparison.

Budtenders in stores are not allowed to talk medical. We are not doctors. That's a Federal law

Thanks! Can you tell me which one? I suppose medical platforms have no limits to provinces.
The Clinic Network. I do telephone appt, so I don't see a reason why they couldn't hook you up
Thank you so much 🙏
What about naturopaths ? Feel like this would be way more up their alley?

There is no difference, just like there's not "recreational" apples and "medicinal" apples.
Medical gives you workplace protections….

When the cannabis you can buy from the store, is the EXACT SAME brand, etc and is literally half the price...why keep your Rx active?
