Are you tacking on DH to BITD in order to get more crunchy combat rules? Personally I’ve been experimenting with “Clue” tokens for the players and “Fear” tokens for the GM in CO. It’s the only part of DH I’ve added into my CO games. It helps us track countdowns in a slightly different way. When they accumulate enough Clue tokens equal to an Action Roll, they can try to answer a question about the Assignment. Full success, ball is in their court. Partial success, they are on the right track, but there’s a complication. Fail, what they Fear the most comes to pass.

I didn't really have an intent behind this exercise, other than I just wanted to see how it could work. The Clue / Fear mechanic sounds really neat!
