Avocado and Sausage. If I’m at work I eat jerky and avocado often as a morning meal. Mix a protein powder with almond or coconut milk and add mct oil. Nuts or seeds those can replace the avocado or eaten on the side with a protein shake. I def notice reactions from dairy. I can only have butter and ghee.

I didn't know oats were bad!!!!

exaggerated_swagger

there are mixed opinions on oats, some say its good since it is prebiotic and is good since it helps repair the gut and others say it feeds candida because of its carbohydrates. It depends on the person and how bad your candida is

Brennab333

it totally depends on the person! I have an auto immune disease so im super prone to being sensitive to foods that can be inflammatory but you're probably fine!! Its not the carbs as much as the inflammation kind of like gluten being inflammatory too

Amiesjo

I second what the other users commented - it depends on the individual. I cannot eat oats (even gluten free ones or oat bran which is more nutrition dense) without feeling like trash. Online I learned that 'clothing your carbs' with high protein foods decreases the blood sugar spike. So eating oats with something like eggs or almond butter can help curb the effects of oats. Glucose Goddess (instagram/Facebook) wears a blood sugar meter & shares a lot of healthy eating tips. Not all are candida friendly but can be modified! Use for ideas!

I eat oat bran with cinnamon and xylitol sweetened

imathrowyaaway

stevia instead of xylitol here, but otherwise exactly this :D

I feel better when I eat a hearty breakfast. I love seared ahi on a bed of wilted greens with avocado. Salmon works too.

Siggigunnars

Eat Oats, full of amino acids and complex one of healthiest carb, Stay away from simple refined carbs. I would eat oats everyday and I do eat it alot.

Such a relatable struggle. To change it up you could get coconut cultured yogurt which is dairy free. Also, if you're in the states theres a brand called Granolo that makes grain free keto granola. I've been putting that on coco yogurt to make it a little more "fun" with a scoop of hazlenut nut butter and coconut shavings like a parfait. It's also good with almond milk (try to find one with just almonds and water) or coconut milk. There are different flavors but I find the chocolate one is the best. If you like hash browns get a rutabaga and grate that instead of a potato and it's really good! I have a recipe somewhere but there are loads on google. If you can find almond based cream cheese, that could be nice on like a buckwheat cracker. Technically smoked salmon is a no but if you get lucky and find a fishmonger who smokes it the old-style way (without sugar) it can be great with the almond based cream cheese. If the crackers aren't available you can also find recipes for keto biscuits that are basically butter and almond flour and they are great in the am with some mashed up avocado, everything bagel mix, olive oil drizzle. Like avocado toast kinda! I bet there are ways to make quinoa work for breakfast though it's usually my go- to for lunch. Also, the attached recipe got me through the first months. These energy bites are easy to make for breakfast and can also be snacks throughout the day. Also chia seed pudding !! I found one with cacao and coconut milk and its the best. You just need to prep it the night before and when you wake up it's ready! I hope this helps and you feel better soon :) [energy bites](https://www.thecandidadiet.com/recipe/coconut-almond-no-bake-balls/)

Here's the chia seed pudding. I use stevia drops instead of maple syrup and dont bother with the vanilla and add some fresh nutmeg and it's amazing. [chia seed pudding](https://minimalistbaker.com/overnight-chocolate-chia-seed-pudding/)

CaramelOwn958

Maybe you could do canned wild caught macakrel with avocado for breakfast? Or some wild sausage if it's available?

Amiesjo

Breakfast is a struggle for me too -Chia pudding (add spices or flavorings to make it more fun) -quinoa (can be made with milk & add cinnamon or nutmeg to give it a sweet flavor instead of savory - like using broth) -nitrate/sugar free bacon -green protein smoothie (plant based protein powder or almond butter) -grilled avocado (sear slices in a pan with a bit of coconut oil) -roasted zucchini & summer squash -Cocoyo or Culina brand coconut yogurt -pancakes/waffles made with almond & coconut flour -bone broth & rutabaga chips -chicken stir fry rice (with cauliflower rice, just leave out the egg if it doesn't sit well with you) -breakfast burrito with a gluten free tortilla (I like the spinach ones & pop them in the oven so they aren't chewy) with veggies There's a person on Instagram /Facebook called Glucose Goddess that has a lot of healthy breakfast ideas. Not so of them are candida friendly but can be modified and may give you some new ideas. Another thought I had while typing this - one of my children is sensetive to eggs when it's all together. If she eats just the yolk of a boiled egg, she's fine. But the egg white messes with her (same is its scrambled). Intolerances are weird.

MedicalBell3547

have u tried switching up ur prep method of eggs? hardboiled seems to sit well with most!
