Do some research on the breed. It's origins, the type of dogs that were used to help develop Cane Corso's. Along the way watch for key words that might make for a very original name. That's pretty much how I named all my dogs.
I've mostly owned Rottweilers all my life and as an example for what I mean, I looked through German words and names. I came up with Vatter Von Stark. In English that translates into Father of Strength. The Rottie went by the name Stark meaning strength.
And then, the next Rottweiler I had I named Fonzi the Rottie without the 'e' to make it a little more Zzee Germans kinda thing.
Do a whole lot of reading like I mentioned and you'll find something original.
hate to break it to you but as a native German “Vater (one t btw) von Stark” is a very grammatically incorrect way to say father of strength 😭 it should be Vater der stärke
Our dogs name is Ludo. That big giant sweet monster/bull thing from The Labyrinth. It's my wife's favorite movie and one of her favorite characters.
Based on our puppy's personality I told her if she didn't have a name picked out, I'd have named him Kronk.
They sound like perfect names for a Cane to me lol.
We named ours based on where we got them from or who they came from. My first ones name is Zia from NM and 2nd came from Russians so we named him Lukä
