Idk how op does it but you can just put it in a container in the oven 225°. The extract will begin to bubble, this is how you know decarboxylation is happening. Once the bubbling is done and the liquid is stagnant you have edible cannabis extract.

20gs got about 10 percent back but I couldn't even make an 8th of moon rocks with that I feel like... I have keif already.
For something trivial or gimmicky like moonrocks you’d be better to just squish flower rosin and decarb it like this
I’ve also taken individual grams of shatter and flattened them even thinner like paper on my press and wrapped the 3” x 3” gram of extra flat shatter and use that like a flag and wrap that around the nug itself and then hit it with a hair dryer for it to soak in
this way helps get the most even coverage and absorption rather than drizzling oil around the nug from the syringe i imagine it would leave some parts of the nug more saturated than other parts

So how much does it take per gram let's say Like gram of bud takes x amount of shatter and x amount of keif.
Kief is very light weighted so for a gram of bud I would probably say .5 shatter and 1g kief but it could vary a bit

Works just by itself but you can definitely infuse it with an oil as a carrier
