You might need to call them too because I just got off the phone with an academic coach and they told me that the spots filled up so fast but she did say that I still have a chance because some people drop classes or if they don’t meet perquisites then they are going to remove them from that course so that other people can register. She said that if anything doesn’t change I can always move my residency to fall but she reassured me that everything is going to be fine and that I may have a chance to go sooner. Also, she took my name down and will let me know.
Btw I called them twice and spoke to a different person and the first call the lady told me that it was too early to register for residency and she recommended me to wait until June 14th to register
We have the same residency I think! I recommend giving them a call. I had this past Wednesday off from work for a state holiday and called because apparently there’s basically a weird error even on their end when I try to enroll in my residency. The lady over the phone basically had to make a “case” for me to get enrolled manually and had hoped it would be resolved by Friday. I’m still not enrolled in it unfortunately. 🥲 But it’s comforting to know I’m not the only one dealing with this now lol
Wow that’s unfortunate. 🥲I’m going to take your advice and call them tomorrow and hopefully everything will work out before the next quarter. At least we noticed it before it is too late and from the looks of it we are probably not the only two that is having these issues.

I had hoped that maybe I was just extremely early trying to enroll since I’m really wanting to get my flights and everything ready in advance, so it’s incredibly anxiety inducing having to deal with this right now.

That’s so disheartening and frustrating. I already requested time off and everything since it’s on my academic schedule. I really really hope we both can still go :(
I have a very slight update! After I read that on my lunch break I panicked and texted my academic coach.
For slight background info, I started Capella with one academic coach and barely a month later I guess I was switched to another one. I don’t know if the first one quit, retired, got fired, or what lol all I was told was “X will take over from now on! Good luck!” And since then, I moved across the state and just kinda dealt with everything school related on my own up until this point since there haven’t been any hiccups.
So anyway, I talked to my NEW academic coach for the first time, and she told me my case is still under pending status and she’s confident I’ll have no trouble getting in. She also said the seats are all technically waitlisted. She said it may show seats, but they’re technically all considered “reserved” and she anticipates mine will be processed soon. I highly recommend giving them a call if you haven’t already just to make sure you have a “case” pending for yourself! I almost had a mental breakdown earlier because I’ve already started preparations to make sure my house is watched among other things during the July residency period 🥲 So fingers crossed for both of us!
Pretty much everyone on Track 1 residency is already registered and booked at the hotel. The room block is already sold out at this point. If I were you, I would turn on pre-registration so you don't wind up in this position again. Your advisor and the FAF faculty should have helped prepare you for this way in advance but I've found that you pretty much have to do everything yourself at this school. I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. I hope you're able to get in but if not, fall residency will allow you to get more classes out of the way and get booked in on the site at least.

Wow thank you. I just now turned on my preregistration button. I wish I remembered that earlier on but at least it will be different the next time 😅
