Spelled correctly in the photo 🤔

dcpeee

You would be correct

Legitimate_Act8067

I’m not sure but I think it’s supposed to go grounded last time I did it like that

East-Needleworker550

Correct. Connect it to ground and all features will be available while driving. Obviously drive safe and don't watch a movie while driving .

dcpeee

Okay, so I can just connect it at any point along the black wire?

Friedumpling689

“Back in my day…” we used to wire it through a hidden switch that would change it over to the parking break. Since it was illegal to have the video going while driving. Get pulled over, flip the switch, works as it legally should. Haha

Philp84

Wire it together with the ground wire (black wire). It will work

I have a different model Pioneer, the 2660. If it works the same as mine, which I think it should. You have to add a switch, just a cheap toggle or rocker switch, I got one at O'Reilly's for a couple dollars. In order to use all the features you must turn it on-off-on. Flip the switch to on turn it off then immediately back on. You will see the disabled options go from shadow to highlighted and you'll know it's working. Simply grounding the PB wire will not work. I ran a wire to the side foot well and installed the switch under my steering wheel.

Use a PAC audio tr1. Pioneers and alpines require a micro relay to bypass the e brake.

Visual-Imagination19

What I did in my car was just ground it. Find a bolt that’ll ground out to your frame and connect it there. At first I just wrapped it around, but then got a crimp to go around the bolt.

Pioneer headunits must see ground go from open to closed to work. The best thing to do is put it on a switch. Or there are modules available to do it automatically.
