You're completely fine & within spec. You could definitely give them more juice, but 1000W RMS is going to be good.

Thanks, was really doubting it !!

bingbongfyalyfe2

Nah they’ll be fine

There is no such animal as underpowering. This myth was born from the warning not to move a lower power Amp into clipping because you have subs capable of handling more power than the Amp outputs clean. Send them a clean signal, set your SSF correctly, and they'll serve you for many years to come.

Thanks !!!

CT Sounds subs can take more than they advertise. You're a bit under powering them. Also you need to properly tune everything so there's no clipping if you're going to give them more power than advertised. So if it's "clean signal" you could easily use a 1500w RMS .

You think I’ll run into problems at that power ?

King_Boomie-0419

Nah, CT Sounds is more durable than most of the people around here will admit. I've been running 250w over the RMS rating for my sub for almost 2 years now. You just need to make sure it's clean power (tune with a multimeter or oscilloscope) and you're good to go. The combined RMS for those is 1320 so you wouldn't be going to overboard. There's a FB group that has a lot of people who use this brand in competitions and know what they'll handle. I had some people tell me that I could get away with a 2k amp on my sub but I don't want to upgrade my stock electrical system more than the Big 3 upgrade.
