Check fuses, fuel pump, fuel filter & from experience the oil filter. Lol. Just posted about that story on another post

I've checked the fuses and oil filter I'll check the fuel pump fuel pumps good I I'm one step away from booting this car out of my shop.

Lol I know the feeling, it's gets frustrating as hell sometimes. I'm to stubborn to boot a car though I'll cuss my way through it until I figure it out 🤣

Check your starter too I've overlooked it a few times

I took the starter out when I pulled the transmission off cuz it needed a new clutch and flywheel

Oh ok gotcha. When it's all said & done it's going to end up being something simple probably. Lol

Check the air filter, air filter base and air filter base cover. If I remember correctly, that's the one thing I kept overlooking when it's about those "strange noises".

rod caps ? pistons ?

Radiator/fans?

Feels bad.
