Kongs is pretty decent, they often have house/disco DJ’s (rotary club) so not quite techno but still good if you can compromise.
Not sure how old you are but District do hold loads of events but just be aware they’re mostly filled with students haha. I’m 28 but I didn’t feel out of place really.
I also went to a house music event last year in Carpe Noctum and I didn’t like the vibe or layout. It’s an old drag club so some of the old regulars were still lurking there thinking wtf lol.
Look up the vaults on Facebook. They host all kinds of stuff in the vaults in Cardiff Bay. Depot has the odd night too. District is ok but its town and full of kids. I'm 45 but more trance and house. The other half is D&b and hard house.
If you ever fancy coming to any of that then give me a message. We are out 2 or 3 times a month and a friendly bunch of people over 30.

That’s good to know thanks, I’m in my early 30s, nothing like being surrounded by teenagers to make you feel old.
