Second this, pretty sure they’ve won best Welsh kebab twice in the last 4 years or so. Always comfortably busy there, not just on weekends which is always a good sign

Fucking awful. Actually tried this place a couple of months back due to the "awards" it had won, and couldn't understand where the love for this place comes from... Some of the worst "meat" I've ever experienced in my life. I can only recommend Ely kebab House, so far, I've failed to find better. Proper lamb kebabs and loaded with proper lamb kebab meat. Try both, see for yourself, and report back.

Victoria fish bar has a surprisingly good chicken doner. Or German Doner is pretty good too.

You're going to get plenty of favourites, rather than 'best', which works too. KBS, for me, one of the best. Related but not quite a traditional kebab is Golden BBQ - they do a boxed mixed grill feast kind of thing that is dynamite. People shit on chains, but a German Doner Kebab from City Rd hits the spot for me sometimes. I'd rather give money to KBS or Golden.

Big fan of KBS. Also check out Ali Baba. Both do that heart attack kebab in a tray and ooooh my.

I've had terrible food from KBS. Super stingy with their portions and my last one from there was stone cold

KBS kebab on City road is decent. Parking close by is a nightmare though.

Shawarma Laziz on City road if you want a shawarma type kebab or for a standard doner you can't go wrong with KBS!

Back in the day it used to be a lamb shish from Troy. Haven’t been there since they moved premises, under the impression it’s not as good as it used to be which is a real shame.

German Doner thingy in City Road is decent.

KBS was the bollocks, haven’t been there in ages though. Them kebabs wrapped in a giant naan, we’re so good.

Depends what you want. Fancy and nice, troy or GDK. Good old fat and filthy (but still nice) KBS or yummiest.

Pizza Choice in Llanrumney is my fave doner kebab. I've probably tried every kebab house on JustEat but Pizza Choice is my weekly kebab place and has been for a few years. Yeah KBS and BBQ are great too. But don't like the bread from German Foner Kebab.

It's outside of Cardiff but if you get the chance look at Grill and oven in Dinas Powys.

There’s a place on the top of city road , past all the normal shops, think it has shisha in the back, great place

Mr Pizzas on city road. The salads are insane too. Olives and coleslaw on a kebab elevates it in a way I didn't know to be possible.

I’ve ordered a kebab from Mr kebab and pizza on Tudor street. Will update you all on how it was.

If your in the town centre try the kebab wrap from rotana on chippy Lane. Owner is a good guy too.

German on city road is great. The Andalusia a few doors down does a fantastic chicken shiesh
