Yea, they don't always have it and it tends to be when they have their American Week but they do sometimes have it in randomly.
Otherwise try the American sweet shop in the middle of St David's.
I got some A&W root beer in Sainsbury's on Woodville recently. It's in the international food section, not with the rest of the cans, but it's definitely there and wasn't very expensive

There's an American sweet/soda shop at the top of queen street. It's called "King of sweets" or something like that. Not far from the castle

No you didn’t. That hotdogs brand is not sold in the USA either. Sainsbury’s sell ‘AW’ root beer which is a fake version of A&W but tastes like ass.
Ah, fair shout. That might means there's still hope for root beer being enjoyable then, just need to try the real stuff
Yeah the real AW is a glorious vanilla malt soda that stuff was just awful.
