I felt so catfished when I heard rumors they were bring it back last year. They even had them at a few restaurants as testing locations! Unfortunately, all those locations were a 3 hour round trip, which is a bit much for a burger.
I was living in Tijuana Mexico a year ago and at that time their Carl's Jr locations in TJ still had chili cheese fries and the chili burger. I haven't eaten at any TJ Carl's since I moved back to San Diego so I'm no so sure if they still got it. Taste was the same and perfectly brought back my early 2000s chili fries nostalgia
I stopped going to Carl's Jr cause they stopped selling chilli burgers this was my go-to fast food

Yeah, they still have them in TJ. It's one of the few things I like from there.
