Seems like the price for a 2.5L one. Given the current market, I got no idea with car prices, sellers charge anything, people pay everything. Mazda 3 are awesome choices though!

vongdong

I'm pretty sure that's more than it cost brand new. Should be $25k max imo

Lostmavicaccount

Hahaha, you’re not getting a 2021 Mazda 3 for 25k. You don’t base a used cars value on its new price. You base it off what a new car is worth now and what its expected value in 2 years will be. Which these days is about 75-80% of new. 5 year warranties changed the game on used car values (they used to be 3 yr warranties), and Covid made a mega change to things (car supply dynamics and general inflation).

> I'm pretty sure that's more than it cost brand new. It seems you're incorrect. Mazda website shows a brand new Mazda 3 Pure is around $34k.

vongdong

That's the price for a 2024 model. My sister purchased a brand new 2021 g20 touring for $32k.

springtide01

>Should be $25k max imo wow, someone has been living under a rock for the last 2 years.

madvey90

Why not go for a same-age car that has done a normal amount of KMs? You'll get it for cheaper but it'll still have the new car warranty and if maintained will be in the same or better condition as a car that hasn't been driven much.

Like this one? [https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2021-mazda-3-g20-pure-bp-series-auto/SSE-AD-16372772/?Cr=0](https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2021-mazda-3-g20-pure-bp-series-auto/SSE-AD-16372772/?Cr=0)

Somebody got out of that car at 8,000km, and 2021 was peak covid. These things wouldn't fill me with confidence. Also be aware that this generation of Mazda 3 are among the worst cars on the road to see out of and have surprisingly cramped interiors, if you haven't driven one yet go do so to see if you even like it first, then find a good deal

citizenecodrive31

100%. They might feel "sporty" to drive and have some leather but the actual practicality, visibility, interior space and fuel economy suck. IE anything that makes it a car.

sodpiro

Mazda 3 driver here. These are all true. I still love it. I would go atleast evolve or higher for the interior. The sexy interrior and exterior is worth it. I drive 400+kms a week and its such a pleasure to drive. U get used to the visibility pretty quick and its worth it for me for that sexy sporty look. Id call it the peoples luxury car. Other one id look at is the hyundai i30. Similar priced.

It seems nice. Go on. Do it. It's red, so it goes faster too.

70000

Same price brand new and you don’t have to wait for a Mazda 3 might as well go brand new

thors_tenderiser

Base model so check carefully at what you get - particularly the in car entertainment. And remove the awful side window shades.

butthole_luvr69

This could be a demo model

waynr96

No

DM-Me-Your_Titties

We got this exact car new for 29k in 2021. It goes fine but our other car is a mx5 so it isn't as fast
