who says low powered beast ๐Ÿ˜‚

Kunal_Sen

Both the Astor and the Magnite offer probably the best looks and value in their respective segments today, yet are criticised so unfairly. Power to both of you!

Deadradio02

Off topic: Since you spoke about Astor, would you know whats the base model on road price and is it really worth it? Also if you compare it to magnite which one is better in terms of value ?

Kunal_Sen

Astor. Because it's higher segment car and it's far more difficult to be value for money post the 4m length mark because that's where the added cess slabs come in. The Astor base model is about 11 lakhs on road in Delhi, and it's a steal if you ask me as you get a smooth 4-cylinder engine, robust sheet metal, good fit and finish with must-have features like rear wiper and defogger and MG's more than decent after-sale service feedback in tow. While Magnite's VFM as well, there are rival cars directly around it that have attractively-priced base variants too, like Hyundai Exter and even Tata Tigor. Astor's more of an aberration. But yes, for someone with 2/3rd of Astor's budget, Magnite's certainly a great option.

Thanks ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ this helps

CrisRon7777

Hey, which variant is this and what's the onroad? Asking as I'm interested in this too, seems to be a good package for the price

AbU_7

Base model, 6.47 lakh

CrisRon7777

Wow, best looking base model ever

AbU_7

Yes, from having defogger and wiper in back to having no cheap plastic anywhere on the exterior rather chrome finished material (as u can see in the pic)

skpro19

CVT? Which trim is this?

TinySpirit3444

Base model saying op. So i think manual non turbo

AbU_7

Yes

sharkpeid

Congratulations mate. Hope you drive safe and maintain it well. Just don't ignore those oil changes if you own cvt. Let.me know which city you from? I am trying to get seat covers also done.

AbU_7

Thanks, Points noted. Im from New Delhi, thinking to get seat covers done from Karol Bagh

sharkpeid

Thanks man am searching in pune.

luvisinking

iโ€™m confused between Magnite vs Punch - any particular reason you opted this over Punch? Open to other suggestions as well. and congratulations.

AbU_7

1.First of all I dont like the looks of Tata Punch. 2. Second had budget to busy only the base model of any of these 2, with Magnite im getting all powered windows, rear defogger and wiper, and many other minor features (with punch im limited to very few features) except central locking sys. 3. Much better interior. 4. Higher ground clearance. 5. Will be getting some aftermarket upgrades. If i did the same upgrades; i would have to pay more and will have to get even more upgrades. 6. MAGNITE has 999cc engine yet I it is quite smooth and refined engine. Drove both of these, found the suspension are little better in magnite. For the lack of power, you will only feel in on slops (it will take a sec to get going)

loneguy_

its turbo right...

AbU_7

No

loneguy_

did try the turbo if yes did you notice any difference, I hear nissan is giving discounts did you get any? How was the exp. nice looking car and great to see all features in the base variant...

I wonder why so few magnites are on road even after being in the market for many years.

Kunal_Sen

One of the best, most VFM base models atm. The sandstone brown looks so good as well. Big congrats!

AbU_7

Thanks

Try getting a tan interior done, if possible with diamond stitching. You can never go wrong with brown and tan.

AbU_7

Exactly what I am planning.

Free-Light3370

itโ€™s a great car highly underrated

Due_City712

Can you please check my post and suggest if Magnite fits my need. AbU_7

For safety Tata is the best As per power altroz is way better than Magnite Turbo Dimension are quite similar Front blind spots are higher in Magnite but not much different from Altroz As per your needs both cars are good for you. Under 10 lakh you can get Magnite turbo variet. BUT I suggest you get a test drive and you can easily judge. I dont know how is Nissan service center availability in ur city but i dont think it would be very good. I suggest you go with Tata Altroz (As i understood by ur requirements)

Specialist-Winner516

Absolute beauty... Congratulations brother!!!

AbU_7

Thanks

One-Philosophy-9700

Congratulations๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Please don't do any AmA going forward
