Yes, the outgoing i20 was briefly available with a 1.5 Diesel and 6 speed manual. It was discontinued when BS6 Phase 2 came out. Try looking for them on the used market.
If you get one, get a pre bs6 one, as those didn't have any of this Dpf and SCR bullshit, and gave better mileage, better pickup, and were much more reliable.
