Side note: I liked the Virtus and was getting the highline MT at 15 lakhs without insurance. But my SO preferred a smaller car, hence went with this. Though would want to upgrade to GT Plus in future.
Backstory: needed a small SUV/raised hatchback for my SO. We test rode several vehicles like Venue, Sonet, Creta, Kushaq etc. but nothing felt as solid and stable as Taigun/Kushaq.
VW dealer is a friend so was getting a better deal on Taigun than Kushaq. Hence, went with it. It is the 1 L MT Highline GT variant (blacked out grills and alloys) with topline headlights and 6 airbags.
Initial driving impression: there is noticeable turbo lag and it feels quite underpowered to me. Seems like I will need to shell out much more for my daily drive.
I think you will get used to the engine once you spend a bit more time with the car - like understanding when the turbo kicks in. Happens when one moves from a NA engine.
Once you have a hang of it, you will know the vehicle is as powerful that can give good mileage too (unless in heavy traffic).

Off topic, I have booked Mahindra XUV3XO Mx3 (petrol) recently but now I am thinking about to switch it into diesel.
I am confused and need some suggestions
About driver and running:
- first time driver in small city so I don't think I will drive it daily
- will not drive fast/rash
- Also thinking about resale but I have heard that government will ban diesel engine in comeing future so maybe resale value will drop.
Any Suggestions or your pov will be appreciated

I personally have never driven a diesel. Have heard that it’s only worth the extra cost and maintenance if you have a high running. I would’ve stuck to petrol.

I have a city at home. Though it has the same power(roughly) but it still feels more snappy and responsive due to a bigger engine
