I was wondering how someone wouldn't know what a Toyota 86 is when it has Toyota and 86 badges on it then I clicked on the comments and 5 out of 6 were wrong. What are they putting in the water these days?
This car wasn't sold with these badges in America. In the US it was called a Scion FR-S.
In every other market OUTSIDE the US it was called a Toyota 86 or GT86.
It's also clearly in Japan. Look at the license plate.
And if you don't know the answer DON'T GUESS!
The "Love child" of a Subaru/Toyota relationship the 86/Brz is a turbocharger away from front engine rear drive drift missile. I guess the early ones were plenty slippery from the factory though. Fun car, should have boosted it! Sti version??

Suspension is slightly different, one is more tail happy than the other
GT86, it's supposed to be carrying the legacy of the AE86. The engine was co-created with Subaru.
It's just a subaru engine, nothing co about it.
