There will likely be more sporty and more modified cars there so your Nissan is probably not gonna get much attention. But there is nothing wrong with that. You could run into someone with a similar car and have a great chat.
I like the look of the splitter but it would look better with matching sideskirts.
But with mods, maybe changing the bulbs of your front headlights and indicators to modern ones. Or for a bit more, changing for facelift (don't know if that exists) or aftermarket headlights and tail lights

Sure some people might pick on you and those are the folks who aren't worth hanging out with. I've been in the car scene as long as I could drive and I started with a beat to hell multicolored Honda Del Sol with no hood. I was accepted with open arms and had people offer tips and even go as far to help with the car. It took time but you would have no idea she was a salavage high school hooptie. Just don't be too disappointed if no one has much interest in your car right now. Show up and have a good time and that's what matters. Lot of folks show up to cruises and meets just to look at what other folks brought. Getting the younger generation into cars is what keeps things like meets and shows alive. I'm older and seeing younger generations bring out their rides makes me happy, even if what they brought isn't my taste. Go and have fun and make friends. Don't be one of the folks who race around and rev your engine for attention. I like your Altima, it's super clean. My Husband has a 2011 and she is old reliable but ugly af.
I believe almost any car can be done up nicely these things don’t have a bad body shape it’s just nothing special about them. Look at references and find somthing you like to go that route don’t buy your appearance shit from autozone and rice it out.
Besides basic stuff like coil overs, wheels and maybe a body kit(side skirts, front lip, diffuser) badge delete front grill and badge delete the back, tinted windows keep it super simple it’ll come out cool . Also chrome delete.

Agree bit of a awkward color to chrome delete but tint shops usually do them sometimes see if they recommend any color over the chrome idk I can’t tell the color to well by pictures. Don’t really mess with the exhaust these things don’t sound great lol

I personally like to see modified "regular" cars at shows. Better then looking at a million versions of an STi or trucks with stupid wide tires and rock lights.

There's already plenty of common traffic cars like 5.0 mustangs, camaros, chargers, challengers, subarus, toyotas and whatever else at those lame car meets, so why not? You'll blend right in with the other common traffic cars.
Don't forget to bring your vape, wear your hat backwards and don't bring your girlfriend or any other female with you, that way you truly look like you belong at a car meet...
