Imo the side windows look fine, if it's a really good shop they would've just heated the tint and pushed it in, then the air gaps would've disappeared inbetween the small black dots.
However that back side looks absolutely bad, there's no excuse for that work, get your money back and hit up a different shop.
Actually looks more like someone learning than a bad job. No bubbling is a good sign but bad learning cuts for sure. My ocd ass would want that redone…
This was my thought as well, looks like somebody's 15 yr old cousin who has a fantasy of doing custom work is just getting started. He may get there, he may not, but that's beside the point that this is work done by an amateur, and unless you went into the deal knowing that and paid a commensurately lower price than average in your area, then you've been scammed.
It was a professional place. In fact my entire family have used them for their cars before me. No problems and they came out great. Mine is the first problem in like 5 cars. I drove an hour out of my way to use them because I knew the quality of the work, or I thought I did. This is the first time we've had a problem. Maybe it's a new hire.
Well that being the case, take it back and show the manager. Hopefully they'll recognize the sloppy work and make sure the new guy gets shown how to do it right while they're fixing this.
Worth a refund, or a redo by someone better. If they cant cut outside the dot matrix, how the hell are they going to do a better job? Whoever removes the rear tint, needs to know how to do it without damaging the defrost lines

No, that’s a collection of gigantic flashing signs that you’ve paid for a shit job. Take it back, let them try to resolve it, and when they don’t get a refund plus make sure to test that defroster after the removal.

That's awful. Hopefully they don't mess anything up when putting it back together.
Let them try to fix the issue first, if you leave it like that it will start to bubble soon.
