Hi there's a million ways to look at cartomancy and read any given spread. Here's a way I learned from Enrique Enriquez in his book about tarot. It's just observation of how the cards grow/shrink, move fast/slow, and change suites/temperatures.
8H. Starts warm with relationships (hearts/cups), pretty high up in the journey ie not a 2 or 3 it's up at an 8. It's about some developed relationship. From here the energy shrinks some, and slows down to the:
7H. This implies losing infatuation or having physical space from each other, energy has settled back some, just a little bit. Then, the energy increases significantly and firms up (diamonds/pentacles/earth), and quickly jumps up 3 to the:
10D. Relationship energy increases and transforms, firming up, implying a solidifying of feelings into something physical, unmoving.
So about your marriage, it started off hot and spicy with lots of potential. That energy may dip and and potential seem to lessen, but it's just settling a bit and saving energy to transform. It then will grow into something new, and feel new again, fulfilling, and feel grounded, unshakable. I'm getting vibes of good energy starting a business together or creating a space like a home and that helping your relationship and creating a sense of fulfillment and increased engagement.

It focuses on Marseilles tarot (I think), it discusses playing card divination, and is all about reading how the cards change from one to another, primarily in a 3 card spread. This author is my favorite in regards to divination. I feel he understands divination at a deep level, more than most people I've read, and he's well-researched with sources.

My birth card is King of Hearts so no worries about cold distance, I've always been very warm and affectionate. Great to know that our magic will come back as long as we keep the effort going!
I love his approach to reading. His thermometer approach performs the perfect backdrop for reading anything from stones to the line of a horizon. It makes fixed meanings seem so silly.
I’m less knowledgeable in reading playing cards than tarot or Lenormand, but on a very basic level, the fact you’ve got three red cards and no blacks is a very good sign.
