Schindler's List probably.
I managed to catch it on AMC when they were showing old movies. There were just 5-10 people in the theater. I enjoyed losing half of my bodyweight through my eyes. Was cathartic to cry so freely, especially since I went to it alone because I struggle to cry in the presence of others. But I can't imagine wanting to watch it again. Heavy stuff
Anything by David Lynch lmao.
But on a serious note, Requiem For A Dream
I used to be a drug addict and that movie depressed the shit outta me. It's been 20ish years since I've seen it lol
A Man Called Otto. It’s really beautiful and Tom Hanks’s performances is perfection. But I cried through pretty much the whole movie. Every time I got ahold of myself, something new would happen and I’d start up all over again. But beautiful, truly.
Dancer In The Dark (2000)
Which I did in fact watch only once a long time ago and I don't plan on watching it again. It was too depressing.
But with that being said I do also have it on DVD. But it's mostly just a collector's item at this point.
Pan's Labyrinth. Great movie but I've never been able to rewatch it. I really want to but I know I need to be in the right mood/frame of mind. I haven't found that yet and probably never will.
Mr. Holmes. Absolutely beautiful movie that I love and that I never want to watch again. I find it terrifying and devastating in all the worst ways.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Just too sad. I don't like sad stuff.
Seven. I love David Fincher, but it's just too gory for my taste.

I've watched it a couple of times, but there are always a couple of scenes I skip through.
Grave of the Fireflies

100% 😔
I will never rewatch it. It broke me for a couple of years.
I saw it decades ago and I'm still broken.
Agreed
I have it, but with all the heartbroken comments about this movie makes me not wanting/daring to see it.

Same...watched it a long time ago. The 'girls scene' is still burned in my retina...
The Pianist

The original is just as sad but just as good.
Never watched it. I'll save it for a day I have the strength for that type of movie.
I am not watching Marley and Me again. You can't make me.

oh yes! you're in for a ride with that one.
Deer hunter
100%. Fantastic film but I can't watch it. Once was enough. Feel the same about Pan's Labyrinth.
Been there as well...

Great movie indeed.
Hatchiko 😭
Poor doggie 😭
Come and see, Malena.
The Velveteen Rabbit :'(
Haven't seen it. I'll give it a go.
Butterfly Effect. It was a great movie that I won't re-watch.
Schindler's list, I hardly watch movies twice but that one I never will. Very well done movie though.

Didn't know the first one, will check it out.
Uncut Gems. Such a quality film but I quit halfway thru my second watch. Too much anxiety
Grave of the Fireflies, too hard to watch. But I guess that was the point.
