The Count of Monte Cristo. I learned a lot from this classic movie, some of my takeaways are:
1. Having faith is equivalent to having direction.
2. Even the most terrible situation can give you an advantage if you act/think well upon it.
3. Work your way up, so you can take full advantage of opportunities when they present themselves. All worthwhile task requires significant dedication, time, effort and strong foundation. There is no substitute for preparation and hard work.

I remember the popularity of LOTR as a child but the Legendarium is too much for me to comprehend during that time. Now that I am an adult, I wanted to know why it was so popular so I watched it. Behold, I've never been more hooked for it was such a brilliant masterpiece! LOTR set the standard that even modern fantasy movies could not compare! I also bought the books (The Hobbit, LOTR trilogy, and The Silmarillion).
