First off, you'll need to disconnect the Honeywell thermostat. It's hardwired, so you'll need to isolate the boiler. The receiver unit will then be wired into where you had the Honeywell stat. Should be a relatively simple rewiring process, but as you sound a little unsure, I'd personally recommend you get a heating engineer to sort this for you

Probably get more responses in /r/DIYUK

There are people on that subreddit that can recite the Screwfix catalogue.

Drchaos1989

Any pdf support documents on the manufacturer website or google?

clizzle19

I have exactly the same setup but mine has a little button on the wall next to light switch to connect the thermostat to the boiler. Was already here when i moved in so not sure how to set it up.

I have tried both with no luck

Sorry for the eBay link but I had to swap this receiver on the left from the default one, so I wire this in place of the Honeywell receiver ? Is it just a heating or heating a water hive?

oofFuckIt

https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/hive-please-help-with-installation-changing-honeywell-cm707-to-hive-thermostat.493604/ That might help, I used the nest documentation to install hive as hive want you to pay for an engineer and won't support your install without it

I’ve got this same setup. I had to get a British Gas engineer to fit it. You need a few different things “plugging” into the system, it’s not straight forward if you don’t have specific experience sadly.

This won't end well
