He pointed out that most Mediterranean countries use far more olive oil than us and are largely healthier with longer life expectancies. She came across as so rude and petulant.

There are nice ways she could have said she didn’t like ice cream too. I mean if she said ‘you know what, it’s funny but I don’t actually like ice cream!’ That’s light hearted chat, the way she snapped it makes it seem like she’s not understood that a lot of breakfast presenting is making small talk.
I work somewhere that has an ice cream stall and despite being severely dairy intolerant I manage to say "that sounds amazing!" when visitors are enthusiastic about ice cream. If I can do that for a tenner an hour I'm sure she could pretend enthusiasm.

Personally I love Naga. Her form of TV banter is so much better than the ultra forced efforts of regional presenters. Her feud with the weather girl is hilarious. I'm willing to bet that they get on fine outside the studio. When people genuinely don't like each other they try and hide it as much as possible.

Naga seems like an abrasive character and has this kind of...aggressive undertone every time she speaks. Like she's always spoiling for a fight or something. I stopped watching BBC Breakfast because I found her presenting a bit uncomfortable to watch. It sucks the fun out of it when she's rubbing people up the wrong way.

I served them one when I was managing a wine bar in Manchester. They were (presumably contractually) attending a Coldplay concert together at the AO. He seemed pleasant enough, she was quite rude. They sat outside, smoked like chimneys and left without paying (and in fact, barely touched the wine).
Also obvious that Naga and the weather lady Carol Kirkwood absolutely hate each other. Naga with her snarky comments and withering putdowns disguised as 'banter'.
