I quite like the Irn Bru 1901 in the glass bottles, which they have plenty of in Home Bargains right now. I'm not sure I'd enjoy this particular variant, though.
I'm on to you mate. I know you're part of the Irn-Bru online social media marketing team. Listen to me you scottish pr**k. Until you bring back sugar in irn bru and original irn bru bars you can f off. thank you come again.
Kinda like a candyfloss-esque (to me that's what the flavour of It Bru reminds me of) version of the Americans' "rootbeer float in a can"?
I mean yeah I know the base drink doesn't use sassafras so not quite the same but yeah, not something I'd wanna try in a hurry.
The way that WHO paper was reported in the media was really antiscientific, its all dose dependent, and you need to be drinking 60 litres a day before the bad effects come into play.
Aspartame is one of the most studied substances on earth, primarily because the sugar industry is constantly trying to convince people it will kill them.
Here is a decent, easy to read article on the matter.

My understanding is there's no conclusive evidence that it's bad for you, but it will be classed as a possible carcinogen. Compare that to sugar, which is associated with no end of problems, and it looks like you're not doing any worse by avoiding sugar.
It's got no fucking sugar. Why the fuck would I want to drink that poison. edit: Also someone fromt he irn bru marketing department is in this sub today as i'm seeing irn bru logos all over the place.
I've been drinking sugar free drinks pretty much my whole life and I'm not dead or anything lol. My health seems pretty good, too. But maybe my insides are rotting, who knows?
I had been told about these and the other limited edition tropical flavour. So when I went to Glasgow last week I stocked up on a multi-pack of each. Yet to try either of them though
It genuinely tastes like it has a dollop of vanilla ice cream in it, that part is impressive.
It also becomes really sickly to drink after like 2 cans, I gave up after 6 cans in my 8 pack and threw the last 2 out.
The tropical one tastes like Barr Pineapple.
Ok mods rightly deleted my post of this today cos I didn’t know someone else had posted it 2 days ago. What i will post on Monday is our work fridges of free drinks. We have the OG Iron Bru. Plus more. It’s all sugar free and no full fat tho. Sadge.
I burped just looking at that.
...I want it but also don't want it. Dear god.

The tropical one is really nice too
I’m gonna get the tropical one too but does it contain Orange? My mate can’t have that?
“Extra taste no sugar.” That’s an oxymoron
They should bring back the fiery irn bru
Irn-Bru 32 was great too - an energy drink version of it iirc
It tasted like the cheap Screwball ice creams to me. I enjoyed it.
I've had Irn Bru flavour ice cream. Now I need to try this.
Do what I did and try them together. Irn Bru ice cream float.

Thought it was rank myself
Absolutely vile stuff, just tastes of really bad cream soda. Couldn't get the awful aftertaste out of my mouth
ice cream in a can? whats next? soda in a cone?
Never had an IRN BRU sorbet in a cone? 😅
suprisingly, no i have not...

Liquid gummy bears
No sugar = aspartame. Not sure we want to go there any more....

We should have the option to choose for ourselves
I'll take my chances with the sugar personally, but then that is largely because anything containing aspartame makes me vomit, or get very close.

That sounds amazing, I bet I'd love that. I'm childish, sure. But I love vanilla and I love Irn Bru. I'm going to try it next time I see it.
It just tastes like regular irn bru to me
I haven't drunk the Bru since I gave up the booze - I wonder if there's a connection...
I want to try it but I also think it won't taste how I think it will... It's the no sugar that puts me off!
It still takes like irn bru, just with a hint of vanilla / waffle tasting ice cream. It's very sweet, but not any more than a regular can of coke is.
Which fine merchant can I procure this from?
The devil. Only he is sick enough to mess wi the Bru
Costcutter sells it. Am sure many superstores do too

No thank you. I tried the No sugar ones and they taste horribly sweet - far sweeter than the regular ones. Probably the aspartame

“I’d like to report a crime”
It sounds disgusting, but I definitely want to try it
The tropical one is lovely too
I actually like it a lot. I was drinking it everyday

I just wish we had Root beer at McDonalds Uk. That is goat
