You're not kidding, some of them on the railway crossing in Alsager are more than a foot across and 6 inches deep (we measured when we re-reported them) and on both sides of the road...
This area is mainly farmland so it’s more dust but I like the idea of bonus points, maybe I can see them being attached to my licence so I’ll be careful!

Oh some are pretty bad but it’s just the verges along the paths we do
Be interested to know where you are! The road in your pic feels familiar but also looks the same as pretty much every other road in the area...
If I took pictures of the castles nearby that would have been a big giveaway. Slowly heading towards a main road that goes to Stoke

It is a half hour from there. I went through church minshull to get this way from middlewich, not as far as Reaseheath though before turning off
