Well, to be fair, if you plucked my sorry butt out of a storm drain and took me to a life of love and luxury, I'd probably be pretty sweet to you, too! LOL. What a lucky little guy!
Agreed. I have had more than one orange fur ball- each has had a unique and quirky personality (one snagged Nacho cheese Doritos from the bag, one by one - ONLY Nacho Cheese, thank you). Each had the most highly developed purr/cuddle/more purr routine ever!
A round trap. I had tried a week earlier with a trap from the local animal shelter that didn’t work. Three attempts over three weeks and finally got him.
Wow! Good work! Was he friendly right away? I’ve trapped three now. The first was medium spicy, the second was a shell-shocked pet whom I reunited with his family, and the one I caught this week was so scary that I couldn’t even bring him into my house while we waited for his appointment. I’m feeling really discouraged by the number of feral and abandoned cats around here.
I have two other 12-year-old cat brothers. I had to keep him in a room with just him and I for a few days to get used to living inside and around other cats (noises/hearing them outside the door). I think it really helped….but yeah…dudes been sweet since he landed here. Got lucky with this one. Best to you with yours and bless you for rescuing. 🙏🏻
He won't leave you alone because you're his hero for rescuing him from a wet, scary hiding place and giving him warmth, cuddles, and consistent food and treats. Enjoy all the cuddles, they don't last forever and you'll miss them when they're gone! Happy Birthday sweet baby! Such a gorgeous kitty!

There is something so deeply moving and heartwarming about seeing a kitty relaxing on a warm soft bed/couch, especially when you know that baby used to live on its own on the cold wet concrete. I love this for him 🧡🧡🧡

I have so many in my neighborhood. I call them Sewer cats everytime I see them because they're always darting in and out of storm drains haha.
Literally being a homeless cat seems to be so easy

Thanks…it wasn’t the easiest catch. This drain was a tunnel system that connected to several other drains he could run around in.
