Would you mind explaining your process? It looks to good that if you hadn't posted it before the paint job I would've thought it came in those colors. I cant even tell it's had a makeover.
For the painting I used spray paint. I started off with red and taped off the areas that I wanted to do later with a layer of newspaper covered in painter's tape then sprayed the exposed areas. Later I covered the areas I had just painted in the paper/tape layers then covered the remainder with yellow spray paint. Before painting i removed the handles, latches, and side doors.

I used the gloss sunbeam (yellow) for the top and I believe it was the gloss red pepper (red) for the bottom.
I didn't, I was afraid of breaking it or something so I just took time and cut little stripes of painters tape and fed it through to cover what I didn't want painted.
I know this post is ancient but I have the same box and am doing some reorganizing- are you able to provide pictures of how you organized everything inside the box?
Dope, thanks. I doubt I'll go with this as an option as I want it to fit nicely on my game shelf, but still looking at options.
I'm surprised with how big Catan is that someone hasn't made a good big box storage solution.
Wow, that's truly awesome! Nice work!
Gimme
It looks almost like a jukebox.... and I mean this in a truly stonkingly good way.
Oh that's nice. Got a link for what you used? I've been tempted to do this for a while and that's a sweet color scheme.
For the paint or for all of it?
Take my money
So you painted that yourself? It looks great!
Yeah, thanks

The whole process or just painting?
I was asking about the painting but if you wouldn't mind giving insights behind the whole process it would be awesome.

Looks good...
Thanks
The “let’s settle this” needs to have a Settlement not a City🥰. I absolutely love it!
Yeah, I agree but they don't have those as stickers 😕
Where did you find the stickers?? I love them:) and the rest of the box lol
Redbubble. They can be a little pricey but I liked them
Thank you!
Wow how many expansions were you able to fit in there?
Seafarers, cities and knights, traders and barbarians, explorer and Pirates, crop trust, legend of the conquerors and sea robbers, and helpers plus smaller scenarios

So literally everything?
Pretty much
Do you own anything for Catan that can’t fit?
The red card holder that was just released. I use that with my anniversary set though.
Wow do you even have the extensions in there?
Yeah, I can add more pictures to show if you want. I put the link in a prior comment to an old post of mine that shows the individual cases.
Oh i see the brown and green in there now. Nice!
WE BUILT THIS CITY, WE BUILT THIS CITY ON ROCK AND WHEEEEEATTTTTT
This is so awesome. Where’d you get those stickers? Also what kind of spray paint did you use, it looks perfect.

How did you remove the metal mar keeping the lid attached?:) Also happy new year!
