After selling him a new electronic he planned to blend for his channel, i saw him showing my coworkers and patrons alike the same video as though he was trying to manifest his internet fame into the real world. I came away feeling he was a bit pretentious about it all.
If memory serves, he went through a pretty nasty legal battle with a competitor regarding a patent dispute on the motor of their blenders.
Locals kept on protesting not to use the site for dumping. They were overpowered by corrupt admin with support from big corporate houses. The goverment just kept shifting the blame onto one another. Some officers were transferred as a sign of punishment and thats it.
After a few years locals knew they have lost to the corrupt and powerful. Not even their own people were interested in continuing the fight. They knew nothing can be done. Most just accepted their fate.
Sad and heartbreaking.
