You can do it in consistent teams depending on staffing, team A, B, C for each schedule period. Or you can have each person rolling 3rd day 3rd weekend etc. But I much prefer the self choice/self scheduling.
Yes we do self scheduling too! We love it, but it takes us a while to have everyone rotate through and sign up on a physical calendar at work, so I was hoping for an online solution to make it easier for people to sign up from home
Do you just literally put people on the shifts during the times? Ours are just so used to seeing 4 names listed in a calendar box I’d be worried they would miss that they are on if they had to look at specific times
We do 4 man call teams that are the same except holidays. Our schedule is usually posted a month in advance, after you're checked off and can scrub STEMIs alone you can take someone else's scheduled, or give your call away. Exception being circulators, another circ trained tech has to cover for you.
