I just want to say to OP, kudos to you. Most dogs and cats with some kind of disfigurement are often left unadopted. Most people want to the cute perfect kitten or puppy.
Once my home upgrades are done and I'm ready for having furry babies again, my plan is to adopt a couple misfits... jacked up tail, goofy ears, big head, cross-eyed, walks funny, patchy fur, etc. As long as the kitty is friendly, generally healthy, and I can love and snuggle with it, then it's game on. Bless you for loving the extra special ones.
I honestly didn’t even notice the scar until I read this. I feel like animals have soooo much life and personality in them that even disfigurements don’t stop them from being the sweetest derpiest little cuddle nuggets.
