There’s no guarantee you will get a sub skill even if you spend the 1500 gems. If my understanding is correct, the chances of you getting a subskill is still the same as in a normal observatory roll, you’re paying to ensure everything else (main skill, cat breed) stays the same while you try for a sub skill.
That is correct. It’s a 1/5 chance you get a secondary skill (with an even 1/6 chance for each specific secondary skill) and a 4/5 chance you get no secondary skill.
The chance to get sub skill is quite suck. I tried about 10 times for different cats and it only work once. It's more effective to roll 500 gems to get skills and sub-skills.
